The Romanian-Korean Studies Center (CSRK) is the newest branch of the Department of Asian Studies at the Romanian-American University. The general objectives of this center are to strengthen economic relations between Romania and the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and promoting Korean culture through projects carried out by both professionals and fans of this culture.

In this sense, the center offers Korean language classes taught by a native teacher, Mrs. Ha Young Sun. Some of our activities include workshops of Korean culture (Korean traditional dances and cuisine) and conferences on economic and social issues. In the future, the center aims to establish and strengthen relations with the Korean business environment and with different Korean universities. Also, future plans include scientific symposiums and events on various topics such as economy, traditional culture and the Hallyu Wave.
