For the first time in Romania, the Romanian-American University will host the inaugural official edition of the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) IBT (Internet-Based Test) on March 22, 2025.

This test assesses the language proficiency of those studying Korean and provides the only internationally recognized certifications (including in South Korea) for both academic and employment purposes.

When and how can you register?

• Registration period: January 20–31, 2025
• Method: Exclusively via email at [email protected]
• Required documents:
  • Identity card
  • 2 photos (3×4 cm)
  • Proof of payment for the exam fee

Exam schedule

• Date: March 22, 2025
• Times:
• TOPIK I (Level 1-2): 08:30 – 10:40
• TOPIK II (Level 3-6): 12:00 – 15:05

Access: 60 minutes prior to the start of each session

Participation fee

• TOPIK I: 220 RON
• TOPIK II: 250 RON

Payments should be made to the Romanian-American University’s bank account, specifying the participant’s name and “TOPIK Exam” details.

Results

The results will be announced on April 11, 2025.
